Elsa Kok Colopy
 

Bio: Elsa Kok Colopy is a passionate writer and speaker who delights in any opportunity to communicate the love of Christ through word or deed. While she enjoys the privilege of speaking at retreats and conferences, she also cherishes the intimate relationships developed through local long-term ministry. A single mom for 12 years, Elsa worked as the Single-Parent Family editor for Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs. In 2005, she remarried and relocated to Bella Vista, Arkansas. From there she flies all over the country to lead retreats for a variety of audiences. Elsa is also the author of four books: A Woman Who Hurts, A God Who Heals; A Woman With a Past, A God With a Future; Settling for Less Than God’s Best? A Relationship Checkup for Single Women and The Single Mom’s Guide to Finding Joy in the Chaos. In addition, Elsa has authored hundreds of articles and partnered in multiple book projects as a compiler and/or editor. Elsa is married to Brian, and together they have four children – Sam, Sean, Jessica and Cassie and two dogs: Reeses and Simba Roo.
