Jill Rigby Garner
Bio:
Jill Rigby, often called the modern day William
Wilberforce, is bringing a return a respect and
civility to our society through the reformation
of manners. With heartrending passion, she is an
accomplished speaker, family advocate,
television personality and founder of Manners of
the Heart Community Fund. MOHCF consists of
three divisions: The Business of Manners—
marketplace and corporate training, Manners of
the Heart— school curricula for all grade
levels; and Manners Media—radio minute, adult
and children’s books. Jill has appeared on the
CBS Early Show, CNN’s Glen Beck show and more
than 100 venues across the country. She enjoys a
popular parenting segment on Baton Rouge’s local
CBS Morning Show.
Whether helping
parents raise respectful children in our
disrespectful world, working with schools in
teaching social skills or training business
executives in effective people skills, Jill’s
definition of manners never changes – an
attitude of the heart that’s self-giving, not
self-serving.
Jill’s newest
book, Raising Respectful Children in a
Disrespectful World, is flying off the
shelves and into homes to help today’s parents
raise children who are respectful, responsible
and compassionate. She’s hard at work on the
third book, Raising Self-Respecting Children
in a Self-Absorbed World… a deeper look at
the lie of self-esteem and the truth of
self-respect scheduled for release in January
2008.
Jill has joined
forces with John Rosemond and Kevin Leman to
introduce Renewing the American Family,
for couples seeking help in marriage and
parenting all in one conference! The kick-off
event is scheduled for February 23, 2008 in
Montgomery, Alabama.
