Gracie Malone
Bio:
Gracie's latest book, “LifeOvers” encourages
women to embrace what she calls “God’s
Color-Full Grace.” She does this by teaching
concepts that seem absolutely “Upside Down” to
our finite minds. Truth is, we often process
things with a far-too-logical and
less-than-spiritual brain. Gracie stretches your
thinking with such topics as “The Way Up is
Down” “Whoever is Last Will be First” “When the
Going Gets Tough, The Tough….Rest” and
“Definitely Flawed but Deeply Loved.” Each
chapter is followed by a Bible Study that’s
perfect for personal or group study. Gracie has
also written two books for grandparents: "Off My
Rocker!" and “Kisses of Sunshine for Grandmas”
(co-authored with Carol Kent) and a book called
“Still Making Waves” written for women making a
splash in their second half of life. You may
remember Gracie best for two best-selling, fun
filled, encouraging books: "Courage for the
Chicken-Hearted" and "Eggstra Courage for the
Chicken-Hearted” which she co-authored with four
friends affectionately dubbed "Hens With Pens.”
Gracie has contributed to many other volumes
including “What We’ve Learned So Far” “Humor for
a Mom’s Heart” Help I Can’t Stop Laughing” “Just
Call Them Laugh Lines”, “Parent’s Wanted” and
the Women of Faith compilation, "She Who Laughs,
Lasts." Gracie has also written devotions for
"Seasons of a Woman's Heart" "Treasures of a
Woman's Heart" was featured in "Real
Magnolias--Stories of Southern Women Finding
Hope, Love and Laughter."
Gracie has written
numerous articles for Moody, Discipleship
Journal, Decision, Live, Women Alive, Christian
Parenting Today, Home Life, Celebrate Life, and
The Virtuous Woman. One of her articles won
"Best Article" at the Florida Christian Writer's
Conference.
She is a gifted
and sought after speaker for women's conferences
and retreats addressing a variety of topics with
spiritual depth and lots of humor. In addition
to her writing and speaking, Gracie is a Precept
Leader and frequent Bible study teacher at her
church in Grapevine, Texas. You can learn more
