Bio:
Julie Morris has been helping
people grow in their relationship with the
Lord for over 20 years. Her books, seminars
and retreats are filled with practical ways
to draw closer to him and experience his
transforming power.
After a
life-long struggle with overeating, in 1982
Julie began discovering how to rely on God’s
power to help her lose her harmful extra
pounds and keep them off. She delighted in
sharing what she learned and became involved
in a lay counseling ministry, helping others
to grow spiritually and make healthy
life-style changes. She is the founder of
Step Forward, a Christian weight-loss
program, which has groups meeting across the
country. She is a dynamic motivational
speaker and has written 11 books. In
addition to the nine books in her Step
Forward series, Julie has written
From Worry to Worship and
From Worthless to Worthy, in which
she shares how God helped her to overcome
uncontrollable worrying and feelings of
inferiority.
