Mary believes every Christian can reflect Christ's love regardless of past circumstances. Having survived cancer as an infant, being raised in a blended family, experiencing the death of her sister at an early age, and overcoming other devastating childhood events, Mary has learned to turn tragedy into triumph through Christ. Her passion is to use her life story to give hope and direction to those who are bound by past regrets.

Mary Englund Murphy is the founder of Looking Glass Ministries and the author of the book Winning the Battle of the Bulge: It's Not Just About the Weight and the companion workbook/journal Planning for the Battle of the Bulge. She and her husband Bill have been in ministry for over thirty years and have three grown children Rachel, David, and Jonathan. They reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Bill is the senior pastor of Calvary Bible Church.
