Cynthia Ruchti
Bio: Cynthia Ruchti has written and produced almost 2000
drama/devotional radio broadcasts since The Heartbeat of the Home first aired
in 1980. She speaks for women’s groups and writers’ events, writes a monthly newspaper column, creates devotionals for The Christian Pulse, and has published two novels to date with two more releasing in 2012 and 2013, and a compilation book of devotionals called His Grace is Sufficient…But Decaf is Not slated for release in the fall of 2011. Her novella in A Door County Christmas garnered recognition as a Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence finalist and as a Family Fiction Readers Choice. They Almost Always Come Home received honors as an RT Reviewers Choice nominee, a Retailers Choice finalist, and the novel is a finalist in the prestigious 2011 Carol Awards.
