Bio:
Karen
has a heart for encouraging women to
creatively connect to God and bring the
presence of Christ into the home. Using
humorous anecdotes, Karen shares how daily
problems, vices, and catastrophes are
invitations to know Jesus more intimately.
Karen Whiting
is a mother of five, a grandmother, and has
been married for over thirty years. Her
husband’s career in the Coast Guard and than
in commercial industry has kept her on the
move, changing homes from New England to
Hawaii, and Florida to the mid-Atlantic.
She has
authored ten books and hundreds of
articles. She is a contributing writer
for Focus on Your Child. Her work has
appeared in numerous publications,
including Focus on the Family magazine,
Today’s Christian Woman, and Christian
Parenting Today. Karen formerly hosted
Puppets on Parade, an
educational television series.
